Photo Booth meets VW bus… yes folks, it’s here in YYC
Well, hello again!
I am much overdue for a new post after a painfully long reprieve from blogging at Not Your Average Jo.
So here’s a bit of the back story behind the break (well, besides it being summer).
I recently partnered with well known Calgary photographer Monique de St. Croix to launch a truly unique and exciting new business called Hip Image. What is Hip Image you ask? Well, it’s a restored, charming little 1972 VW bus with a digital photo booth built inside.

The bus may be vintage, but our photo booth is totally modern and built right into the bus. Prints snapped on a DSLR are developed within seconds for guests’ enjoyment. People can also share the good times with your friends via social media on-the-spot with our social media kiosk.
We’ve had a ton of fun hitting all sorts of events in Calgary this summer. We kicked things off with a Back to the Future party (very fitting for 2015), did the super fun Hullabaloo fundraiser for Honens’, plenty of Stampede parties where we appropriately got pretty dirty, Telus Spark’s adults only night and much, much more! We’re excited to gear up for the Bridal Expo and Beakerhead coming up in September.
